Gov. Scott Walker is back in Washington, D.C.

According to Politico, Walker was to share a lunch today with Republican members of the U.S. Senate. The story says about the visit:

He almost certainly will brief GOP senators about the lessons learned from his budget battle as congressional Republicans head into a summer fight with the White House over raising the national debt limit.

It’s not unusual for top GOP officials to lunch with Senate Republicans, and Walker will likely be warmly received by his allies on the Hill.
