Justice Thomas: Why is that guy still on the bench?
Edited on Wed Jun-01-11 10:53 AM by leftyladyfrommo
Why is he still allowed on the bench.

Not only is the guy a sexual predator creep but

I just read that his wife made $150,000 in salary with an addition $15,000 from another group she founded - all from anti health care politics.

I just don't get it.

He doesn't report his wife's income for 10 years or something and then when he is forced to it turns out its from anti health care groups.

Like that isn't going to influence how he votes on the court? Please!

I just hate that guy - he just gives me the creeps.

1. Because it's difficult to impeach a justice?

Another concern is that if we kick out "their" justices, they will in turn kick out ours next time "they" are in power.

4. Difficult? Try near impossible....
Samuel Chase is the only Justice of SCOTUS to ever have been impeached, and he was acquitted.

2. he's STILL pissed off about Anita Hill
i think he's been pissed all along, and his wife soliciting Hill for an *apology* (good GOD) seems to prove it. i think all hell would break loose, however, if DoJ did anything about the lying, cheating, unethical bastard. all of us libruls would be hypocrites to *attack* this *black man* vs. not *attacking* the *black man* in the oval office. hell, it would probably start the next civil war -- something the repubs are just drooling for, i'll bet.

7. Because all they have to do to quiet the opposition, is to spread a
twitter photo of the underwear of the person who wants him investigated.

8. The man in an inflamed, festering, pustulent boil
on the buttocks of the SCOTUS and the very notion of justice. Would it be so bad to wish that a meteor would land on him?

And there is something deeply creepy about him which is a separate issue entirely from his medieval jurisprudence and general assholishness.
