1. Would people finally wake up if it is a sudden, massive, unexplainable death of human population?

18. That sort of thing happens in Japan every year
Various Japanese prefectures (states) have advisories about bird deaths on their websites, and are attributing the deaths to a number of causes, including avian influenza, poisoning, injury, scarce food resources

It's not like dead birds are falling en masse from the sky in Japan.

20. Thousands of crab and fish deaths in concentrated areas
versus a couple dozen birds in disparate parts of Japan.

When you have a lot of migratory fowl gathering together, some of them will get sick and die. It happens every year, in Japan and elsewhere. It's not like flocks are dropping out of the sky here in Japan.

5. end times, baby, end times . . .
OK, I keed. It *is* freaky and disturbing, though. Hope scientists figure out what it is.

It may be that some of these stories are making the national news now that would've been only local stories before the Arkansas bird deaths happened.

10. The Deep Water Horizon couldn't have had anything to do with this.
Naa, they stopped that little leak and used dispersant on the oil, too.
See, everything is just fine. Move along now, nothing to see here. (Because it's now all under the surface.)
