I AGREE with the repugs on the health care bill!
I think it DOES need to be changed--to ADD a public option, and to make sure the insurance companies can't alter it to suit their purposes, and NOT that of the population's best interests.

Once those things are done, I think there is NO other reason to alter the bill, until a future time when they have done away with all "protection rackets," aka insurance companies.

1. The easy compromise is to get rid of the mandate! Then you got good insurance reform.

2. "I think it DOES need to be changed--to ADD a public option"
The "repugs" want to add a public option?

Who knew? Was this just an excuse to state: "I AGREE with the repugs on the health care bill!"

3. No public option, no health care reform
I said it before, and I'll say it again. What we have now is insurance reform that favors the insurance companies while feeding Main Street with crumbs from the masters' table - said masters being UnitedHealthcare, Tenet, BCBS, etc.

6. Just what I was expecting from some - go team up with the Republicans and do what you can to repeal
the Affordable Care Act.

Just don't expect us to treat you like you are any different from the Republicans.

Are these the same people that said there was no difference between Bush and Gore?

10. "Affordable Care Act"
This bill has as much to do with our having access to affordable care as Bush's "Clear Skies Initiative" had to do with protecting the environment.

We needed reform that would actually give us access to care, instead we got a version a mandate to buy the same old crap from the same old crooks.

12. I haven't forgotten what we are fighting for
Which is an improvement in quality, affordable healthcare for all Americans, not a mandate to buy the same ol' same ol' from Big Insurance.

5. Let's hold the debt ceiling raising thing hostage for the Medicare buy in
That's how the GOP would do it.

8. No, you dont agree with them, except if you want to REPEAL it.

They are not interested in improving it.

But I am not surprised some here agree with the GOP. Their policy is "pray you dont get sick" and apparently, some here have the same policy.

Ironically, the main reason why the GOP scheduled the vote is they know it would never be enacted. They know there are way too many things people want in the bill, starting by insuring children under 26 and insuring preexisting conditions.

14. It is stupid to phrase things to align yourself with Republicans and attack the President.

It is like teaming up with Grover Norquist to try to stop passage of HCR.
