Photo of the Day (JAPAN)

In this photo released by Tokyo Electric Power Co, a storage megafloat leaves Yokohama Sunday on its way to Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. It will be used to store a large volume of radioactive-contaminated water from the tsunami-crippled nuclear complex.

3. Interesting
It seems to have grass growing on it, seems a bit strange to me but what do I know?

I am more curious about what happens to that radioactive contaminated water once it is stored there. I also hope this thing does not spring a leak.

5. That is my worry too.
What are they going to do with all that radiated water? That barge cant last forever. Probably take it out to the middle of the Pacific and dump it so we all get a little. Horrible thought!
