Rep. Paul Ryan blames town hall backlash on ThinkProgress
Source: Raw Story
By Eric W. Dolan

House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-WI) blamed the liberal blog ThinkProgress and others for some of the rowdy town hall meetings he recently faced.

"My town halls were phenomenally, overwhelmingly supportive," the congressman told Bloomberg. "And this was after – you know, it was reported by the media that MoveOn, ThinkProgress, the labor council from Milwaukee were doing training sessions and trying to stack the crowds."

An audience at a town hall in Milton, Wisconsin booed Ryan in April when he tried to defend his proposal to extend tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans.

ThinkProgress denied the allegation that it stacked the crowds at town hall meetings.

4. No - P.D. your constituents are waking up to your real politics and world view.
He's enjoyed a long honeymoon in Janesville because he has a carefully crafted image in his district. People are now paying attention to his politics and not his "aw shucks" local boy goes to DC image and this is most alarming for him. LOL!

9. Town halls, you say?
We just found out that our alleged representative has been holding town halls. Thing is, you have to be among the party faithful to know about them. As I type this, he will have been alerted that we're aware of his sneakiness; he'll have to have at least one for-real town hall before he can even begin to claim to interact with constituents. What a butt.

10. "you know, it was reported by the media"
Oddly, this is the first I've heard of such a thing. Did the media make it up, or did Ryan? At any rate, it's absolutely an untruth.
