OBL’s kidney transplant
Is there any official word since Osama bin laden's death as to whether he’d indeed had a kidney transplant and was on dialysis?

9. I wondered about that too.
How long does one take? Can it be done in a couple hours?

12. I imagine, if they'd been planning it for nine years.
Zip, zap, zip.

13. they said he was prepared and buried according to Islamic traditions
and autopsies are stictly taboo, so, if that is true, then I'd say no autopsy was done.

2. I think the US only cared for a DNA match and then got rid of the body.
I don't think they were interested in anything like that. Maybe more info will come out later.

3. May have been a bit of disinformation
from the start -- or else he DID have a transplant and no longer needed dialysis, but DID need to be somewhat near medical institutions.

Goat meat is very acceptable on the kidney problems diet as it is high protein.

From davivita.com

'What can I eat?
In addition to enjoying a variety of nutritious foods, the hemodialysis diet will introduce a higher amount of protein into your eating plan. The exact amount will be determined by your dietitian. You will be encouraged to get protein from high quality sources such as lean meat, poultry, fish and egg whites. These high protein foods provide all the essential amino acids your body needs.'

4. I think they still have the body so hopefully they will find out.....
and then we can find out WHERE it happened and WHO paid for it.

This could turn out to be the biggest story of the last 50 years once we can pin him to Bush.

5. One usually gets transplant so that they no longer NEED dialysis.

7. I understand that, but
dialysis is used in cases of kidney transplant failure. (It happened to my sister.)

8. Yup, understood.
Sorry about your sister. My friend's brother got a new one on Groundhog Day and has done very well so far.

You won't mind if I ignore that advice, then, I guess.

I'll do what I please, thanks, and comment as I see fit. I hope you'll do the same.

15. Some people are interested in finding out just what the lies were.
Did he need dialysis? Did he get a transplant? If so, where did he get it? What medications was he on, and who was filling the prescriptions?

If somebody was covering for him, that 'somebody' is STILL out there and is STILL an enemy.

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend" may not always hold true, but "The friend of my enemy is my enemy" has a certain degree of truth in it. It is important to know who the friends of my enemies are.
