Moving threads from GD to other forums...

This question is about moving of threads from GD to the State Forums. It's quite easy to see why threads are moved to I/P, 9/11, and the gungeon, but moving threads to the state forums pretty much kills a thread.

We both see how popular the Maryland and DC forums are, yet I see threads dumped in there on occasion. You might as well delete the thread if it goes in there. If the thread is about issues (while a local issue) affects nationals issues, then shouldn't it be in GD? One of the problems with the state forums is the low traffic and no one really posts in them. (I was able to kick a thread I had started back in mid 2004 asking about restaurants in the Columbia area).

1. Could you give me an example of a post moved out of GD?

We tell the mods that for the most part they should not be moving threads out of those forums if they are even remotely relevant to politics or current events.
