1. It was removed as a personal attack.

It looks kind of borderline to me. More of a callout than a straight-up personal attack. But technically a rule violation.

It was indeed a call out - against personal attacks.

I specifically asked DUers to respond to Cornel West without ad hominem attack, and the very closest I came to a personal attack was when I suggested that it would be foolish to say that Cornel West's criticisms of Obama were due to West's stupidity.

Can I ask that the text be reposted, on the condidtion that I reword it to suit the admins?

If so, I need to know what changes would you require?
