2. And the networks aren't running the newser!
I can't believe this newser was bigfooted by talking head babble about the verdict coming in sometime later on the Jackson doctor trial. Pathetic news judgement here. Doesn't quite make sense.

3. This just turned into a crime.
I don't know the statue of limitations on this but it sounds like a crime was committed by Cain.

4. Just watch the RW media and pundits spin this!
It will be turned into Cain vs Clinton: "Well, they didn't prosecute Clinton!"

5. cain's statement
Herman Cain's campaign just e-mailed us a statement.

Just as the country finally begins to refocus on our crippling $15 trillion national debt and the unacceptably high unemployment rate, now activist celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred is bringing forth more false accusations against the character of Republican front-runner Herman Cain.

All allegations of harassment against Mr. Cain are completely false. Mr. Cain has never harassed anyone. Fortunately the American people will not allow Mr. Cain's bold "9-9-9 Plan", clear foreign policy vision and plans for energy independence to be overshadowed by these bogus attacks.

It's sexual assault.

12. If the allegations are correct, then it is indeed a sexual assault and not
harassment.

10. Yup. I wonder if he'll cancel his Jimmy Kimmel appearance scheduled for tonight...
and if he DOES go, it'll be interesting to see if Kimmel asks him anything about it. I bet Cain will have made Kimmel promise he wouldn't ask anything about this, and if he'll comply. Kimmel is hosting the WH Correspondents Dinner this year. I wonder-if he goes easy on Cain, does that signal he'll go hard on Obama? Just wondering...

11. With Gloria Allred as her attorney, we have a serious person
who will not back off by the bluster of lame Cain.

I still predict he'll be gone by the week's end.

If not the direction his polls take will remove him from serious contention. The polls among Republicans might not immediately drop but when they become aware of his unelectablitiy (due to the reactions of of independents &c.), is polls will tank shortly . . . maybe not among republicans, but independents &c., they'll turn back to Rommeny.)

It prob. would have been best for Obama to run against Cain, but that's probably out of the question.

14. Cain must be VERY happy right now that the MJ case took over the news coverage. Of course they
can't cover more than one story at a time.
