1. What's this in relation to?
Did one of their so-called "Democrats" (i.e. Pat Caddell, Douglas Schoen, et. al) show up and demand President Obama's impeachment?

5. Kucinch is one of the few I'd call a True Democrat
Edited on Tue Mar-29-11 11:08 AM by Demeter
And I'd say his record is unimpeachable. The one "iffy" decision he made was at the behest of Obama, and it was a major bad move for the nation. I wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't behind K's call, adding to it the President's suicidal insistence on more nukes, more wars, more tax cuts....

and more bipartisan BS.

31. His record is unimpeachable because it consists of soap box rants and olive pitt incidents.
Impeachable? No. Surprisingly void of any real accomplishments? Yes.

11. While I respect his opinion (though I disagree with it vehemently)
giving Fox News ammunition that they will eagerly use against President Obama is just a really dumb idea IMHO. Of course, I don't think that his (or anybody else's) calls for impeachment over Libya are going to go anywhere even in the House where I'm sure they'd readily jump on whatever they can in order to try to impeach Obama. The problem for the Republicans in going after Obama for intervening in Libya is that most of them are demanding that he go further and orchestrate regime change there but Kucinich was dumb IMHO to be used as a tool to give them anti-Obama soundbites. Kucinich should know better that Fox News has no interest in anything HE has to say- unless it's speaking out against Obama.

4. Did he really call for the impeachment of Obama?
Edited on Tue Mar-29-11 11:01 AM by Autumn
I haven't watched Fox in 8 years, and I don't look at clips when they are posted from there. I haven't seen a transcript either.

Edited to add your poll kind of sucks. not enough choices.

17. He appeared on other networks as well
suggesting Obama's military intervention in Libya was an impeachable offense. It got him a lot of news coverage, if that was his objective. It was a real turn-off for me. He could have objected to what the president did without bringing up "impeachment".

19. I finally found a clip on MSNBC. IMO
he didn't "call" for Obamas impeachment, he said it could be an impeachable offense.

22. That's pretty much what I heard,
but that is a very explosive word and Kucinich knew that when he said it. Other Democrats were critical of Obama not consulting Congress, but they didn't resort to the unnecessary drama. Serious debate is undermined when people intentionally throw divisive words into the dialogue.

32. Gee whiz, what's the harm in putting that idea out there on FOX NEWS?
I can't imagine anyone would want to run with that notion, especially when someone from the President's party says it.

Nah, no harm done. Not when you're talking to the Fox News audience.

35. Unrec for the Kucinich bashing.
Agree with him or not, he stands by his principles no matter what. He may be the only honest person in Washington, and that has limited his career.
