1. a primary challenge would probably lead to President Hayley Barbour,
or something equally odious. I wish that progressives in Congress and in the media could convince Obama to grow a spine and relish a fearsome debate, but I fear that a messy primary would lead to something we would all hate. Obama has disappointed me greatly, but the only realistic alternative is infinitely worse.

2. Obama has given us the most progressive legislation since LBJ. Sorry it isn't purity, but it is damn
well progress.

6. I suppose
If your gay and want to get married or join the military, it's progress. Running up the body count in the ME is not progress. Allowing the criminal milking of the treasury (read OUR MONEY) by a select few is not progress. Appointing Jeffery Immelt who just got a $4,000,000.00 raise at GE is not progress. Not prosecuting war criminals is not progress, it's complicity.

8. Me too. Obama ran as a Progressive and was elected in a landslide,
then governed as a corporate centrist and a hefty sum of Dems want him primaried. Run a REAL populist who will also Govern as a populist, and I bet you would again see another landslide in 2012.

9. In light of the fact that it probably isn't going to happen
-- it's mostly a passive-aggressive way for some to blow off steam.
