The absent Democratic 14 want to talk to Walker. Do you think he'll accept
the invitation? Do you think he should? Do you think the 14 will come back to WI without guaranteed bargaining rights?

I will listen but I won't negotiate. So even if he "accepts," what will it signify?

2. At this time Walker has painted himself into a corner and there's no way he can talk with them
without appearing to have backed down. The Dems may have to do an end-around and deal with the Republican senators.

There was a thread here last night about the return of the 14: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x574165

3. But this is a definite written invatation...not just a request through the media.
I think he'll meet them because the 14 really want to discuss the conditions for coming home. Maybe they want a promise not to be arrested. I don't think Walker will give in....he can't. So I think the Dems will come home and let the vote take place and hope and pray the Republican Senators will change their vote due to public pressure and fear of being recalled. So they will come home...they'll vote...they'll win. :) At least 4 Rethugs will defect....let's hope!

4. Damn, I just missed Walker's propaganda news conference. Briefly
what did he lie about? I heard the end...blaming the Dems for something.
