1. That could explain the rumors
of heavy Secret Service presence.

3. I've been hearing the rumors and if true I love this even more than I do Obama going there. . .
. . .Obama runs the risk of this becoming a political football and I trust him to make whatever decision he does.

That said, Bill Clinton has much the same impact, including heads exploding on the right, without the negative blowback that could really hurt Obama in 2012.

5. I would suggest that it's too dangerous for Obama to go there.
Too many Tea Party people.

7. And I wonder if the level of security that would be required would disrupt the protests
The visit would require an absurd level of security, partly for the reason you just mentioned.

6. What I'd be worried about with Obama going there...
Is it looking like he's just trying to score political points off of the protesters. Granted, the man is so good at public speaking that if anybody could navigate those murky waters it's him.

8. Hope that he well briefed
this could really get the word out that this is a Walker created crisis to grab power and not a real one.
Getting tired of talking heads saying WI is broke.
The following from Cap Times has the story.

10. If Obama gave a speech in support of unions from the White House,
it would be fantastic!

I'd love a speech pointing out that breaking the union has nothing to do with balancing the budget!

11. While not a Clinton fan - that man can motivate a crowd
Like no one else.
His ability to connect with the listener is tremendous.
