Tears. Just tears.
I listened to the DADT vote on CSPAN and it passed in decorum with the Senate.

It was methodical. It was amusing to hear the "No" votes from the usual tribe of Hateful Bastards of No. It was heartwarming to hear the votes of the courageous Republicans join in with the Blue Dogs with their positive votes.

We now see who stands on the side of freedom in all its amazing glory and those who wish to inflict their hate and ignorance upon those who love freedom.

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We saw who was for it and who was against it.

I high-fived my partner in matters of love when it passed.... with tears of joy.
