1. I think they were an indication of a Republican tsunami...
So maybe it'll be just a flood.

3. No they were not
If we had lost those that would have been an indication of us losing more than 60 seats.

To be honest we are trailing other races in Indiana and Virginia that would be an indication of that as well. So...

4. Those Results Mean That . . . .

. . . if trends hold, the talk of 70-80 seats was just a bunch of garbage. However, saner predictions like Larry Sabato's had R + 55, and both Rep. Chandler (KY-06) and Rep. Yarmuth (KY-03) were projected by Sabato to win. So those sorts of predictions are still possible. Anything in the 40-50 range of losses, that is. 70-80 is probably not happening.

5. Exactly, 40 to 50 is reasonable. 70 to 80 was ridiculous.
I said so yesterday. I hope I am right.

6. Did You? You Were Dead Right! :)

I wish I had seen you say that yesterday; I would have given you props. The whole 70-80 seat meme just took on a life of its own and got stupid fast.

7. And how few do they need to lose to hold on the House? 30?
