At least one Dem pick-up for the House: Polls have Carney (D) 17pts over Urhaquart (R)

This is for Mike Castle's (R) open seat in the house and it's Delaware's lone house seat

Democrat John C. Carney Jr. leads Republican Glen Urquhart by 17 percentage points in the race for Delaware’s seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, according to a PublicMind poll released this morning by Fairleigh Dickinson University.

The poll, which surveyed 797 likely voters statewide from Oct. 20 to 26, showed Carney leading 53-36, up a few ticks (51-36) from a similar poll released Oct. 5.


Poll director Peter Woolley said Carney is running better than his party, too. Delaware voters favored any Democrat by an 11-point margin (48-37) and said they favored a Democratic-controlled House at the same rate.

In other news in PA/DE, Rasmussen has Sestak only down by 4. That is doable, IMO! Morning Call tracking has it 5 points, but it's a small daily poll, and they've been interviewing more Repukes than Democrats. It was closer when it was more even. :hi:
