On CNBC obviously and http://www.whitehouse.gov/live/ (audio only)

wont be able to do play by play, but, even better, CNBC is already live blogging it:

16. That may have been the best question & answer I've seen thus far....
... at any town hall he's done.

Someone who genuinely likes and supports the President, wants him to do well .... a belief I think MOST Americans hold .... just wanting to know why things aren't "fixed" yet ... and his answer, an honest concession things aren't "fixed" yet, but we're headed that way and that there have already been major changes that affect the average joe. (and Sally)

They FAILED! & he got a massive standing ovation!!

And they're still trying to knock him down in the reactions.

43. And those folks were clearly NOT Obama cheerleaders....
... let's be honest, *I* would ask him, "What's it like to be so AWESOME!?" ... lol but these were people with legitimate concerns, complaints and questions, people who share many of the same questions many Americans do.

But they just flat out LIKE him and want him to do well ... and that will carry him far ... thankfully, the country gets to share the ride.

48. Exactly! If someone had told me that it was Faux that were hosting it, I would have believed them
CNBC were hoping for a full on live hate fest and did everything they could to engender it but it seemed to have the opposite effect. The more they hated, the more everyone else seemed to respect him. Did you see any of the fallout afterwards? THAT was really entertaining! Hopefully there'll be some clips of some of the crow eating reactions on YouTube later.

BTW I literally laughed out loud at *your* question.

50. Yeah but the average Joe questioners LIKE him...
.... the first lady, the guy with the glassware company, the younger guy. It was clear in their tone and their pleading.

Glad you liked MY question .... in all seriousness, I'd only have really wonky questions, like when did they figure out they were about to lose the Mass. Sen seat and all the stuff involved in that ... certainly not a conversation he'd like have with the general public lol.

35. He showed amazing command of the issues
and an ability to explain them in clear, precise, convincing ways. He did not back down when challenged (on treating Wall Street like a pinata, for example), he did not shy away from the complexities or difficulties of decisions. Excellent program--and I sure doubted it would be so after that shocking intro.

45. I wish he got tough questions like this all the time...
.... he can certainly handle them.

Just the very nature of most town halls .... attract people who are MORE supportive than the average voter and the questions often reflect that atmosphere. This was a nice change.

49. Watching it now...seems at the top of his game
Very clear and considerate. Presidential.

Plus, his answer on the tax cuts was very hard to argue with. The first $250K of income remains taxed at the 35% rate. If you're on the bubble, only the relatively small amount you make over $250K is taxed. Strong round of applause in the room (one of many).
