President Obama & First Family meet perky porpoise during boat tour of Gulf of Mexico

How about a fin bump, Mr. President?

A playful porpoise Sunday helped seal President Obama's case that Gulf of Mexico waters are coming back as a tourism playground.

A pod of porpoises entertained Obama, the First Lady and their daughter Sasha this morning during a boat tour in the gulf. The trio took a boat excursion along the Florida Coast, where perky porpoises swam along side their vessel, breached the surface of the water and put smiles on the Obamas' faces.

The porpoise - sorry, purpose - of the trip was to show that beaches are open and the water is clean despite the monster oil spill that began in April from a BP deepwater drill site.
