My Tea Bagger Rally report......Nuts on Parade........

I went to the 1st one at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park at 5:30. Last year there were 1500 people. This year.......40!

I was really disappointed. Not many people to argue with.

I had discussions with three of them. All got angry when I asked if they hated the Bush deficits also. They all said "They were nothing like Obama's" I showed them charts and said "I assume you really loved Bill Clinton since he had a surplus." They of course blamed that on a GOP congress. Blah, Blah, Blah. None of them had an answer to "Why didn't you protest the Bush Deficit?". One old lady, after about a 10 minute argument said "Well, why won't he provide his birth certificate?" That was all I needed to end that conversation. Nut job.

I assumed there was only 40 people there because there was a big rally at the Community America Minor League Ballpark. So I headed out there. The seating capacity is about 6000 and I'll admit the place was almost full.

They had a lot of speakers. Local Conservative talk show nuts and local politicians. Kris Kobach spoke, he is a right wing idiot who got his ass handed to him by Dennis Moore in 2004.

I actually counted 6 black people, out of the 6000, that is 1/10 of 1%, not bad for a Tea Bagger party!. And talked to one of them. Really nice guy and admitted he was only a Tea Bagger because he is 1000% against abortion. That is his only reason. Single Issue Voter. But he was very nice and I enjoyed the talk.

The rest of the nuts I talked to have no answer to the "Bush Deficit" question. No answer to the "Obama tax cut" question either.

I only saw two overtly bad signs. One was "Obama, another illegal immigrant". And one t-shirt with Obama wearing a Hitler Mustache.

The speakers I heard basically said all the same things.....

It was an interesting experience......

These people honestly just hate the democrats and Obama. It has NOTHING to do with taxes (lower under Obama) or deficits (horrible under Reagan, Bush 1 and Bush 2). They are walking hypocrites. Logic means nothing. You cannot win an argument with people who can't think. Knock on their head and you will hear a hollow sound. I guarantee it.
