C-Span: Republicans redefine Grandstanding
Is anyone watching this?! It's like I'm watching a skit on television. You know when you watch those awful infomercials. And they're like..."That's right Marcia. You can put 3 eggs, a piece of ham, and 2 slices of bacon into the blender and when you toss it into the microwave you get a full breakfast." "Oh Wow Dave. This is amazing."

Republicans McCain, "Catastrophic care is forced upon the people. My friend Peter Goober who's filing a lawsuit against the federal government." "Thanks for bringing up catastropic care McCain. That's exactly right. It's forced on the people. Who's ever heard of such a thing. And another thing we should talk about is when the premiums go up." *signals going up by doing a mini leap* "I'm glad that you brought that up the Senator of Georgia mentioned premiums..." and on it goes. This is ridiculous.

I seriously don't know what I'm watching here.

2. I have no clue. It's really weird to watch and it seems as though Gregg is the one selling.
It's entertaining in a bizarre way.

3. Are they having a colloquy? Are they taking turns talking and agreeing with each other?
It's so stupid when Repubs. do it, just lying back and forth.

4. Yuppers.
One talks and the other piggy backs off the other and their all on the floor at the same time and are sort of looking at each other when they do that. the Dems are taking a turn one at a time like the norms. But these guys seems to be talking to each other about how bad the bill is and agree with one another.

6. A too funny ad right now would be select bits of their whining
cobbled together in infommercial fashion to highlight the absurdity.
