Scary New GOP Poll
On the heels of health care, a new Harris poll reveals Republican attitudes about Obama: Two-thirds think he's a socialist, 57 percent a Muslim—and 24 percent say "he may be the Antichrist."

To anyone who thinks the end of the health-care vote means a return to civility, wake up.

Obama Derangement Syndrome—pathological hatred of the president posing as patriotism—has infected the Republican Party. Here's new data to prove it:

1. Further proving what we already know.
Republicans are, by-and-large, uninformed idiots who do not know the definition of "socialist" and have embraced the negative aspects of their faith and foresaken the positive.

4. David Frum today expressed something about the Republican Party
Something along the line that the smaller it gets the more radical it gets.

Now along that same line... How many are going to remain Republican when they know that they are better off under a Democrat and the Republican Party is a party of NO and consists of people that are racist jerks?

5. Nothing new: it's the same old paranoia and racism repackeged.
Is the difference now that it's been mainstreamed? No, it was mainstreamed before -- the difference now is that it's stated more openly in the mainstream than has been usual for the last few decades.
