1. Couldn't watch but hope to get a transcript or video when I can. However,
from reading about it here and other internet places, it would seem that the dog and clown show won.

17. No, I haven't. I don't know what you're referring too in relation to the question.

7. The Obama ..... and the Dems are lucky to be on his side.
If it weren't for him, the GOP would have the edge.

9. The Republicans came to the table with the same old talking points they've been spouting
for months. And most of what they say is wrong. Probably intentional lies, but very much incorrect.

They are a disgusting, corrupt, hateful, bigoted, hypocritical bunch. We really shouldn't have expected the Republicans to even make the slightest attempt to work with us.

I say ram it through the way the GOP has rammed stuff past the Dems in the past. Step on the gas, honk the horn, and if anyone gets run over, well...they were warned. NOTHING is going to get done if the Dems don't shut the GOP out and get on with business. They've already wasted a year trying to be bipartisan and haven't gained a single Republican vote in the process.

We change our bills to accommodate the Republicans, but then we don't get any votes for it. I say if they don't vote for it after we change it for them, the changes get stripped out. Screw 'em.

10. Obama and the Adults
Some Republicans dont look so bad if they are addressing these issues like Adults. McCain hasnt and he has been looking petty. Obama is looking very good during this whole discussion, especially because he has answered just about everything the Republicans have said in a reasonable matter and has had the last word.

14. I have to say, at least the media is trying to explain this to the American public.
And,this is something they have not done in the past. In the past they just carried the water for the Republicans on this issue.

were not truthful. They invented things to criticize, just made stuff up. Than McCain and Bohner both said "Start Over", as did some other lesser GOPers. Most GOP input was rambling junk and very little of it was constructive or even meant to be constructive.
Dems appeared knowledgeable and CONCERNED to get this right. I admit that I have a better opinion of the congressional Dems-and Biden and Obama-than I did going in to this meeting. Dems won it all, and I hope to see large support to really improve and pass this bill, even with no GOP votes. In fact I hope it becomes a good, effective bill and I hope the GOP does not give up a single vote.

One more nail in their own coffin.
