Andrew Romanoff has rolled out a slate of new legislative support for his U.S. Senate bid, including two-thirds of the Democratic caucus in the Colorado House of Representatives.
House Majority Leader Paul Weissmann (D-Louisville) and Senate Majority Leader John Morse (D-Colorado Springs) top Romanoff’s endorsement list, which was rolled out at a press conference Friday.
"Andrew Romanoff is the epitome of what a United States senator should be: a bright, young, articulate statesman who leads by example," said State Rep. Edward Casso in a statement.
Romanoff, who served in the Colorado House for eight years and was Speaker for four, also touted the backing of 30 former state lawmakers, including former House Speaker Ruben Valdez and former House Minority Leader Ruth Wright.
