I did not vote for Obama to play nice with the Thugs.
We've had 8 years of domestic terror with the Chimp.

The Republicans needs to understand that. Obama needs to understand that.

Failure to do so is catastrophic.

That's all I have to say about that subject.

1. Did you vote for him to govern?
because that is why I voted for him and that is what he is doing

2. Seriously,
the Repubicans are out trying to kill health care reform. Not a single one of them voted to advance it to this point.

The President is pushing to pass reform. What is with the meme about being nice to Republicans?

Talking about working together isn't wrong, but I see no evidence that he's altering his agenda to suit Republicans.

3. Well... that suggests a major break with reality on your part

The promise to play nice with the thugs was the centerpiece of the campaign.

That's like saying,"I didn't vote for McCain to stay in Iraq."

6. Well, to be honest it was another one of those "I didn't like it, but voted for him in spite of it"

5. Everybody should have a seat at the table.
He's willing to talk with supposed enemies.
Negotiation over confrontation.

Did you miss these major campaign themes?

7. Not at the fucking head of the table though.
It's time for the repukes to sit at the kids table. Along with the corporations. And even that is more than they deserve.

8. While you argue over the the sitting arrangment,
to a table that we never had in the past, people are dying.
But of course, people's lives are so much less important
than the political etiquette that some want to fixate on.
In the end, when we get fucking nothing,
than you'll feel real what, exactly?

9. It's OUR goddamn table.
We built it, AND the fucking chairs. Now the DLC wants to throw out the table, replace it with some cheap plastic made in China piece of shit they bought at Wal-Mart, and seat nothing but corporate CEO's around the table.

Look where that got us. It's WHY "people are dying".

11. He's tried that with the GOP ... they've told him in no uncertain terms ...
#&$@#% - OFF!!!

We had 60-40. And we STILL let the GOP kick the crap out of us.

The GOP kicks us when we are down ... and now, they kick us when we are UP.

And WE ... We ... We ..... APOLOGIZE when their leg gets tired.

The American people expect strength.

10. If that's the case then you voted for Obama to do nothing. Further more...
Why is this all Obama?! You realze when it comes to laws and policies we are living on the whim of Congress. So it's Congress that's the bloody problem, not the President.

Thugs play to win by any means. Nicing up to them and sucking up to their paymasters will not save your neck.
They will get what they can out of you. Let you alienate your own base. Then they will cut you in half when your usefulness is dried up.

13. I don't think many here on DU voted for him to "Play Nice," Either. It's only
since he was elected that DU became the "PLAY NICE" crowd.
