Honduran Coup Perpetrators Admit 1,270 detentions during curfew

HAVANA, Cuba, July 13 (acn) A total of 1,270 people had been arrested by
the police of the de facto government in Honduras until Saturday,
informed that repressive corps in Tegucigalpa.

The information was offered during a press conference on Sunday by
police sub-commissioner Héctor Iván Mejía, who said that 150 detentions
were made during the Saturday night curfew.

In its first stage, the curfew was established from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00
a.m., and, in its second stage, it’s applied between 11:00 pm and 4.30
a.m., the Bolivarian news agency reports.

This measure of force was imposed after the military coup d’etat of June
28, when constitutional president José Manuel Zelaya was kidnapped and
forcibly taken out of the country.
