Honduran Militant Assassinated in Sane Pedro Sula

Popular leader and leftist militant Roger Bados was killed by unknown
persons in the northern city of San Pedro Sula, according to sources
within the anti-coup movement.

Initial versions indicate that an unknown number of men entered
Bados' home at 8:00 pm, located in the May 6th neighborhood, and shot

Bados was a member of the opposition Party Of Democratic Unification
and the Popular Bloc of San Pedro Sula, located 250 kilometers north
of the capital, and was ex-president of a cement company in the city.

Honduras has been in the middle of a serious political crisis since
June 28, when a military coup overthrew president Manuel Zelaya. ?

12 de julio de 2009, 12:25Tegucigalpa, 12 jul (PL) El dirigente
popular y militante de izquierda Roger Bados fue asesinado en
Honduras por desconocidos en la norte�a ciudad de San Pedro Sula,
informaron hoy fuentes del movimiento antigolpista.

Las primeras versiones indican que un n�mero no precisado de
hombres entraron a las 20:00 horas en la casa de Bados, en la colonia
6 de Mayo, y le dispararon.

Bados era miembro del opositor Partido de Unificaci�n Democr�tica y
del Bloque Popular en San Pedro Sula, a unos 250 kil�metros al norte
de la capital, y ex presidente del sindicato de una empresa cementera
de la urbe.

Honduras vive una grave crisis pol�tica desde que el pasado 28 de
junio un golpe militar derroc� al presidente Manuel Zelaya.

1. Another pro-Zelaya activist has been killed.

He was Ramn Garca, 40. He was shot four times on Saturday afternoon as he stepped off a bus in the town of Callejones in the department of Santa Barbara in the western Honduras. He had been leading protests against the golpista regime.

Supuestamente, se debe a que participaron en manifestaciones de apoyo al desplazado presidente Manuel Zelaya. El Frente Nacional de Resistencia contra el Golpe de Estado dijo que las muertes ocurrieron "en momentos de grave crisis poltica y en condiciones de persecucin y represin desatada por el gobierno de facto contra los dirigentes populares en todo el pas".

Dos activistas del partido de izquierda Unificacin Democrtica (UD) de Honduras fueron asesinados a balazos, supuestamente por haber participado en manifestaciones de apoyo al desplazado presidente constitucional Manuel Zelaya, informaron fuentes polticas.

Roger Ivn Bados, de 54 aos, fue asesinado por hombres armados el sbado por la noche en su residencia de San Pedro Sula, la segunda ciudad ms importante del pas, a 240 kilmetros al norte de Tegucigalpa, consign la agencia noticiosa italiana ANSA.

En tanto, Ramn Garca, de 40 aos, fue asesinado de cuatro balazos el sbado por la tarde, cuando baj de un colectivo en la comunidad Callejones del municipio Macuelizo, en el departamento Santa Brbara, en el oeste del pas.

2. Wow. They're going all out, full speed ahead to eliminate ALL opposition.
As if Latin America hasn't seen enough of this already.

If the people don't get their government back, they can expect to be plunged directly into the past, with death squads keeping the entire country's population living in fear.

That may be great for right-wing mutations, but the entire world understands their morals, how worthwhile they are, when they are satisfied with life, with their own government terrorizing, murdering the poor and those who speak out in behalf of the suffering, helpless people.

It's fine with them if EVERYONE who is poor, helpless sacrifices even more, or is sacrificed, so that they may prosper.

It's a matter of time, but this suppression of the masses will NOT last forever. It's bound to explode in their puffy, pigsnouted faces.
