1. It's hard to say
if you don't know what they're saying.

2. I know, but Joe doesn't look too happy that Obama is reprimanding him.

like maybe Obama is teasing him.

7. My dog would have snarfed it up before I even noticed it!
Years ago, with my other dog, I was pulling out a cookie sheet of ginger bread men. To this day, I don't know if it was a deliberate attack on the ginger bread men, or if he was just excited at the smell of the cookies, but his snout bumped my elbow & the ginger bread men ended up on the floor, many in pieces. They were rationed in small amounts, but guess who got to eat them?

5. What makes you think Obama is reprimanding him? Is that something that
fell off of Joe's plate?

8. Yes, it's cake crumbs, presumably from Joe's plate.
In another thread someone suggested O was reprimanding B. I think, if he was, it was all in fun. I mean, it's just a few crumbs!

I thought each president got to design his own Oval Office. When is Obama going to implement his design? You can tell it's still Bush's design. And in the second shot from the top, with the pattern of the flooring & then the pale carpet on top, it looks like a three dimensional medallion, doesn't it?

Man, Clinton's office was very distinctive! I love the red stripe sofas on the dark blue carpet!

PS - wouldn't that be a kick ass Design Star episode? Submit your design for the Oval Office! Whoot!

"Don't let's step in the bluedawgberry pie."

18. it is pie
I saw another picture of a whole line of different kinds of pie (presumably instead of a cake) each one with a candle sticking out of it.

10. Those pics were interesting!
I wonder if most Presidents just change the upholstery, drapery, etc., or if they really get in there and Make Their Mark.

14. I think most presidents change the decor
Marking their territory it seems, especially after a presidency of the opposite party. I found it interesting that Obama didn't feel that need. To me, it indicates he is a very secure person.

15. Well, Obama may now have a very unique blueberry pie stain that future
administrations can point to: "Here's George Washington's desk, JFK's rocking chair, Obama/Biden's blueberry pie stain..."
