8. OK, I've finally gotten a chance to watch it

I am so damn sick and tired of the media constantly harping on Biden being a "gaffe machine."

I'm SICK of it. How many times did Lesley bring it up? Did they REALLY have to show the clips of the President being uncomfortable with stuff Biden's said? Especially since it was flogged like a dead horse ad nauseam when it happened the FIRST time?

I know our Vice President has a thick skin. He wouldn't be where he is if he didn't. But I am REALLY, really tired of this meme. As brilliant and compassionate as he is, and this is what they choose to focus on.

Someone asked me today "why do you think Biden REALLY cancelled his GMA appearance...." - as if to infer that he said something on 60 minutes inappropriate so he had to go to 'time out' by avoiding GMA today. I am really sick of this shit.

I dread what his media obituary will look like when he passes on.

Other than that, the interview was ok. It was nice to see Madame Secretary there watching Biden's back. And Dr. Biden looked great, as usual.

9. I agree it gets old, but the interview showed him to be likable and self deprecating.

Most of the comments on the CBS website regarding the interview were very positive. Joe made a good impression on many people.

About the 60 minutes interview, at least Obama said he apologized to Joe for acting like that.

This whole thing about his gaffes gets on my nerves too.
Even Obama has said some pretty outrageous things - they ALL do... but for whatever reason, Joe has to wear a sign around his neck.

All I hope is that Joe knows how much he is loved by many, and is not just listening to what the stupid media has to say. We need to figure out a way to let him know.
