Bei der Sicherheitskonferenz in München soll der Beginn einer neuen Zusammenarbeit mit den USA geschaffen werden. Die Delegation aus Amerika ist mit Vizepräsident Biden so prominent besetzt wie lange nicht - und will vor allem zuhören.

Washington - Knapp drei Wochen ist Joe Biden nun der Vize des mächtigsten Mannes der Welt. Manchmal wirkt der Ex-Senator, sonst für sein loses Mundwerk bekannt, dabei etwas verkrampft. "Es ist sehr schwierig", sagte er in einem TV-Interview. "Ich muss daran denken, dass ich der Vize bin und nicht der Präsident - und alles, was ich sage, auf die Regierung zurückfällt."

Loosely translated: The USA will start a new beginning of cooperation at the Security Conference. The delegation from America is so prominently engaged, with Joe Biden, as never before and (they) want to listen to everyone.

Joe Biden is the VP of the most powerful man in the world, for a mere 3 weeks. Sometimes the ex-Senator, often known for his free speech, seems somewhat inhibited. "It is difficult," he said in a TV interview. "I must think about that, that I am the VP and not the President, and everything that I say falls back on the Administration."

4. Just as I said last nite - I'm not going to

argue with the people out there that don't understand. It's a waste of time.

Last nite on Rachel Maddow, Madeline Albright was on saying basically everything Joe has been saying over the last few years. Rachel gets it. Alot of people on DU don't, they want to believe that we don't need a strong defense. I don't have the time or energy to make them understand.
