I don't know what it is about Illinois and governors, but once they hit the governor's mansion, the next stop seems to be JAIL! This has been going on since I was a kid, but Blogovich takes the prize - he is definitely the most outrageous. What the hell was he thinking???

Crazy stuff, but in CT our last governor is also in jail. Lots of corruption in congress and at the statehouses in both parties.

We just moved to CA seven years ago.

It seems the only time I hear anything about an Illinois governor is when they are indicted! I guess a lot of it goes back to corrupt big city politics in Chicago. Richard Daly Sr. was a demigod mayor and a lot of the corruption is still around evidently.
