But at the same time - I am freaking out.
When I saw the morning paper I shouted out every cuss word in my vocabulary.
Obama took Janet Napolitano. Janet - the only thing that seperated Az from it's *insane* gop gov't.
And an extreme RW wacko is taking her place. Pray for me. Pray for Arizona.

She will be very good for the administration but Arizona....when is your next election for Governor?

She was an excellent choice for Homeland Security tho.
And she should be of some help to the glbt community - as she is quietly gay.
No one ever talks about it, but everyone knows that she is.

It's just hard because she was such an excellent governor.

But at least I got to see my cupcake today :) Gotta focus on the positive.
And then get to work in my state.

Joe really knows Pakistan and India well, I was reading a lot this morning about what he has spoken and written about it. I think he will serve Obama well considering all the problems there right now.

One of his staffers was with Benzair Bhutto hours before she was assassinated.
He got an email from her that morning.

Joe really has deep contacts. Hopefully he will get Kerry lined up with all his people.
I'm sure Kerry has people of his own. I am so happy that Kerry is the one that will be taking Joe's place on the sfrc. I have no doubt that Kerry will do an excellent job.

About Napolitano - grantcart had a great thought. This may be exactly what Az needs to get the Dems fired up enough in this state to finally take it over. positive thoughts. positive thoughts.

Keep thinking good thoughts. I have to go to my Child Development class now and I will be trying to send you good vibes from CT. We actually have a Repub governor here, she took over after our other governor went to jail. But she is very moderate for a Repub...I am guessing that is not the case in Az.
