1. I don't know if that was current or previous footage speaking to the firefighters.

The had some other clips in there from his Presidential campaign, so it may have been pulled from that library.

Hmmm.

1. Don't agree with "did you see that smile?" comment from Chuck Todd. That's reading into it and proves nothing.
2. Also don't agree that if he'd gotten the word he wasn't chosen, that he'd be holed up inside his house engaging in some introspection. He really didn't want it. Plus, even if he had heard he wasn't the pick and WAS disappointed, he may have wanted to just go golf and get away from it all. Anyway, it's projection. Nobody KNOWS how Joe would react.
3. I think I agree with Pirhana's opinion (which may have changed by now :7) that Joe told the truth, then got the word to backtrack because he'd said too much.

And - I didn't see the part where he came back after golfing and said I haven't talked to anybody (which is being reported elsewhere). Was Chuck Todd's segment before Joe returned from the links? :)

On the other hand --

Obama going out of his way to say "that's why I stand with my friend Joe Biden..." is odd.

I don't know what to think.
