I mentioned in another thread that I'd post some of my pics from the rally I volunteered at in Detroit. They aren't very good, but I couldn't take my best camera because of size, so I had to use my small Olympus Stylus which doesn't have a very good flash or zoom. I was really close though, as they let the volunteers on the floor right in front of the stage, so there were only about 10 people or so between me and Obama and Gore.

3. It was a very memorable experience.

I was really surprised by Gore. It was the day he endorsed Obama, and we only found out he would be there when we arrived to volunteer. Gore is much better looking in person than in photos. I found that to be true about Kerry also. Maybe it has something to do with people who have angular features? Dunno, but it was true for both.

It was a very full arena...great turnout! There were only a few seating areas that weren't full, and the floor was packed.
