More, on plagiarism:
'Our political conversation is not subject to a copyright, thank goodness, and the controversy over whether Barack Obama borrowed a phrase or two from his friend, the governor of Massachusetts, is silly. (It was silly and unfair to Joe Biden in 1988, too. History, and John Sasso, have wronged Mr. Biden here.)'

1. While I believe that plagiarism is too strong of a word for what Obama did, it makes me
angry that everyone is coming to his defense - but Biden had to drop out of the race for doing the exact same thing. No, Kinnock wasn't his friend, BUT Biden cited him every time but once.

I guess I want equality for all.

Silly me.

2. I feel exactly the same.
and even further than that it is just more of the same. He can say what he chooses, but the very first time she critizes him, OH MY GOSH, you are attacking the savior. Well we will see.

3. I've been thinking about Biden through all this and

been wondering if he would be upset or sympathetic about all of this.

My gut feeling is that he is an Obama supporter, so probably sympathetic.

5. Ditto - First of all, I couldn't believe that it was a deal breaker in Joe's
first run (not that I was paying attention at the time). But when this came out and it was viewed as no big deal, it irked me that they were viewing this Obama flap how Joe's incident SHOULD have been viewed.

And the REAL irony is that that was the ONLY thing "they" had on Joe. Whereas with Obama and Hillary, there's plenty of more IMPORTANT stuff that we're also giving a pass to.

7. it's such a stupid distraction
I can't get excited about either one of them when it's more and more about the campaign and not about what they're really going to do for the country.
