How do I deal with shrinking polo shirts?
I deliberately select a lot of my shirts to look big on me (just 'coz like the style) but all too often they lose their bagginess and get stiff after a couple runs through the laundry. Anybody else had this problem in severity? For me it all too often means losing a whole shirt size or more - I've had XXLs end up smaller than a brand new XL. I realize some shrinkage is often inevitable, but how do you lessen its effects?

2. If I MUST use the dryer...
...will setting it on low heat help reduce shrinkage?

4. OK I put it on low heat but messed up the timing
They were all dry (or at least almost almost almost dry) and my Southpole XXL polo shirt looked awfully shrunk. I'm not sure but it might be un-shrinking a little bit now that I did a few stretching tugs with my hands and put it on a hanger. Is there any way to un-shrink cotton polos, even by only a little bit?

5. hmmm
get it wet, leave it dripping wet and hang it on a hanger

the weight of the water may stretch it out some

6. Here goes nothing...
I just soaked the shirt and then shaped it into a rolled tubelike shape, held it in my two hands while gently applying outward tension to stretch it lengthwise. Then I partly wrung it out while leaving it pretty heavy with water, and hung it up in a part of the closet where I don't care about the dripping water. We shall see what comes about!
