$4/gallon gas is about where people who have a choice consider riding transit

alas, the repukes are trying to cut Amtrak -- again :boring: -- and have ruined enough states' budgets so that most transit agencies aren't in a position to add extra capacity.

So I'm looking at someone who got priced out of driving to work taking my seat on light rail in the morning. :grr:
