Giuliani Leaves Early To Avoid Daughter At Her Graduation
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

May 26, 2007 -- The big chill between Rudy Giuliani and ex-wife Donna Hanover was on full display yesterday when both attended their daughter Caroline's high school graduation - but sat as far apart as possible and never spoke.

When the commencement speaker, Sen. Charles Schumer, noted Giuliani's presence and the audience broke into applause, Hanover and her son, Andrew Giuliani, sat stone-faced and didn't clap.

But Hanover and Andrew jumped up and cheered when the Harvard-bound 17-year-old Caroline received her diploma from the tony Trinity School, while Giuliani and his wife, Judith, didn't even crack a smile.

During the two-hour graduation, the Giulianis could be seen whispering to each other and peering over at a happy Hanover and her husband, Edwin Oster, sitting 30 yards away.

Rudy and Judith Giuliani avoided his children and ex-wife by arriving minutes before the ceremony began, entering through a side entrance, and they ducked out 10 minutes before it ended.

is up to now. I just know he's not presidential material and I'm not sure he could run NYC again. I know before bushits let 9/11 happen..rudy was dogshit in NYC.

30. Methinks Rudy Happypants is always available
I don't get the appeal, but there seems to be no shortage (pardon the pun) of Rudy's availability, if you know what I mean.

2. The only thing Rudy & the republican electorate agree on is their desire...
... to hurt brown people. We'll see if that's enough for the republican electorate.

Right now, it looks like it won't be enough - that the republican electorate also requires an equally strong desire to hurt gay folks and women as well.

13. It wasn't about his daughter
He was hoping he could avoid bad press by showing up, even though he had no desire to congratulate his daughter. Foolish of him not to realize that plan wouldn't work.

24. They just call themselves
republicans. rudy and his ilk are rabid(frothing at the mouth and ass), power hungry fascists who are smearing the term "republican" right down through the sewer system.

I know old school Republicans who are conservatives that make a similar distinction between Bush and what Republicans used to be.

He was a senior citizen who changed his registration to Democrat so he could vote for Lamont in the primary. :)

15. I was wondering the same thing.
Why they heck did he even go. He didn't even smile or react when her name was called. Sounds like he went so the press would not report Giuliani did not go to his daughter's High School Graduation. What was the purpose of Chuck Schumer announcing his presence. It was not about him. This is absolutely disgraceful.

22. does everyone else with a strained relationship run for president
and endlessly espouse "family values"?

This may not be considered "news", but it does provide another chip off Rudy's hypocritical veneer.

Anything else?

Rudy is a jerk, I don't agree with or approve of his politics, but I feel only sorrow for kids that
can't or won't speak to their father.

35. Yes, Rudy is a class A jerk and maybe that's why his own
kids want nothing to do with him. His son and daughter aren't really children, they're young adults. Obviously there are some issues between them and if they feel that "Dad" isn't worth the bother, that's their decision.

Obviously, this was just a stunt to make Rudy look good, but it backfired on him. Good enough for the creep.

36. His family troubles should disqualify him from the running...
...not throwing asparagus here, dysfunctional families are a fact of life for a great many of us and we deal with them...
But there is a dysfunctional family dynamic in the White House now...and the American political landscape...which involves the well-being of millions of people...is NOT the appropriate theater to play out your Dysfunctional Family Psychodrama.
:banghead:

We've had six years of that as it is...and I'm really wanting to change the channel right about now...and sure as HELL don't want to be subjected to a re-run or spinoff of this series.
