So, let me get this straight about the unemployment "extension"..

So, let me get this straight about the unemployment "extension"..
It's not actually an extension at all. All the original 99er's don't get an extension.

All the people that weren't eligible for the extension, now get the 99 weeks.

So in other words, those people who were on the original 99 week program just got tossed overboard.

1. That's right.....
and the only people not to get a tax cut are those earning less than $25,000 per annum. This all seems rather topsy-turvy to me, but the rich don't pay, just the poor do. The very people who can't afford to pay in the first place.

It seems like a really, really bad deal to me; at least one republican doesn't want to extend any benefits at all, unless part of it is in the form of a loan....so those who can't get a job have more incentive to go back to work, or something.

Washington needs a riot or two.

2. So to recap.
the poor get fucked again, the unemployeed since forever get fucked and the rich laugh at Obama.
