Just heard on TV both Conrad and Lincoln are voting for the compromise...
So, looks like the Senate is a done deal...

I have to think enough pukes will support this to pass it in the House.

1. Of course they will.
Everytime I see Conrad appear to talk about that Debt Commission, I turn the television off. I have come to loathe this proverbial wrench in the wheel.

5. Many also throw out the ridiculous idea that Dems are powerless
because of a threatened GOP filibuster in the Senate. The mind boggling aspect of that notion is that Dems have NEVER made the GOP actually fight for anything. The Obama folks have never pressed for a battle. They simply say they are powerless and we must eat shit or die.

We need a new candidate in 2012.
