Two key reaons why Wikileaks resonates with a lot of people

1)Arrogant government. Government officials love to grandstand about democracy and "the American people" but it's obvious many of them have contempt for the public.

2)Arrogant media. A great example is the Sunday show garbage. The people who get access to government officials waste it. Of course this explains why they get the access in the first place.

The government and the media basically collude with each other against the public. Yet for some reason we are supposed to share their outrage when Wikileaks dares to rain on their parade.
