1. This kind of stuff annoys the crap out of me
The money spent on those things could have actually fed someone. Or given them a doctor visit. The money spent to ARRANGE this moment and photograph it could have been spent on people in need.

People are out of work. We don't need this bullshit.

7. Me too.
I'm a Texas Ranger fan, but I kinda like that Nancy won this bet. Neither of those men look very happy, that's for sure.

10. Me three...
You have to figure that they have people to make all of the arrangements... they only need to spend three minutes tops for things like this.

I'm someone's "people" so I'm sensitive to these things.

I noticed they didn't have a platter large enough for the chocolate, and someone substituted what appears to be a cork board or something of that sort, upside down with parchment paper on top. That looks like a last minute fix only the best "people" in our field could come up with! Kudos to them, I say, for their service to our country! Making things look effortless requires a LOT of effort.

6. The people who made the chocolate and the pie and the person who took the photo
are probably more needy and deserving of the money than 90% of the people who get federal money.

Lighten up.

time and effort that went into producing this little charade.

21. To my mind
it's only a personal attack if it's an exaggeration or a falsehood. You've clearly demonstrated that it's not.

20. Go Giants!!!
Glad to see that Barton and Specter did not renege on their bets.

Personally I love this kind of thing, it is one of the fun things about politics. Yes I believe there should be fun in politics as in other areas of life.
