War on Christmas begins ...by the tea baggers... a wife beating loser tea bagger

If you can't run successfully against the Obama White House, you can still build a robust marketing strategy around an anti-Democratic message.

That, at any rate, appears to be the seasonal moral behind the success of David W. Hedrick, a tea-party-backed also-ran in Washington state's 3rd Congressional District race. Taking his message into Yuletide mode, Hedrick penned "The Liberal Clause," a tea-party-themed Christmas book for children featuring a socialist Barack Obama, "Elf Peloosi" and special appearances by Joseph Stalin and an Afro-centric minister named "Reverend Blight."

Hedrick is traveling to New York today to film a Christmas-special segment for Comedy Central's "Daily Show with Jon Stewart," Hedrick consultant Robert Harmon told The Ticket. "And sales-wise, he's doing great," Harmon added.

Hedrick lost his insurgent GOP primary bid in August but has segued promptly into promoting "The Liberal Clause." (Hedrick has also been busy appearing in court, on assault charges filed by his wife -- who has since sought to rescind a no-contact order between the couple, claiming that he was trying to calm her down at a time when she was "out of control.")

1. More fascist indoctrination tactics.
And as for his assault charges, you know it's always the victims fault with the teabaggers.

2. Wow I'm guessing a first grader could write a more engaging story
I kind of wish at this point Obama did act like Stalin toward the fucking tea baggers because then they would be dead or in a forced labor camp and I wouldn't have to read about them anymore.

4. What he meant was that his wife was out of *his* control. She *must not think* on her own.

7. I love telling wingnuts that
I once told a particularly obnoxious wingnut that not only was Obama NOT a liberal, but Richard Nixon was the most liberal president we've had in the last 40 years.

He unfriended me on Facebook. And that was a victory. :)
