The blame for the war has been transferred to the dems. They have been in "control" of nothing really, since their slim "upset" in November, but their promises to end it came to nothing, except to re-vitalize the "Energizer Slug" in the White House.

August is the official "end of the war", and dems are now responsible for the "violence" that will happen.

They dared to try and end it and of course Bush vetoed their bill. According to the administration, this "bad bill" and the attendant bad vibes have energized the insurgents, and they will create a chaotic August for our soldiers.

Truth-be-told, August will be "bad"...as every month has been, but *² will be out on the warpath beating the drum, and the compliant media will help him fix the blame.
He has already "reached out" to the UN..(much like a scared teenager reaches out to all his friends when he finds out that Mom & Dad are on their way home..and the house is trashed by a party he threw in their absence).

He will relentlessly pound away at how we held up funds (or tried to), and that's the reason August will end up being bad.

The real reason is because the surge is a flop and will continue to flop, but it is no longer even HIS idea.

He's back to praising Baker/Hamilton, even though he willfully ignored their tepid advice. They gave him a roadmap, and he threw it out the window at 80 MPH...He crashed the car, and now claims he was not even driving..the democrats were driving..

It's just too damned bad that Rove's mother did not commit suicide YEARS earlier..before she had a chance to birth that evil beast.
