My brother bought a brand new truck with his bonus/combat pay when he got back from Iraq the first time. Then he got orders to go again. He had to put his truck in storage for the many months he was gone--I think it was 14 or 15 because he was extended two or three times. He still had to pay payments on something he was unable to use AND his truck was devalued at least a year. Sometimes it's the little things that are happening to these soldiers that we should all be aware of.
