Democrats have not failed us, Rubber stamp republicans have.
Rove has made us the bad guy and we are falling for it again. Lately the reading here on D U has been right out of Karl roves playbook. disinformation, impatience, democrats can't do anything right, democrats fail to get things done, all from Karl rove. never mind republicans not joining us to stop the war. it is the republicans who are afraid of bush not us. they call it loyalty, i call it fear. so can we please blame the rubber stamp bush republicans for some of these setbacks..
or has Karl fooled us again? Stay on track people. peace

3. I wish they would have showed more spine, but it's Senate Repugs who failed
us the most (other than Chimpy, of course). Let's keep that in mind.

7. Please
The Democrats could have fought, or at least not thrown the fight in the second round! We already knew that the Repukes would rubber stamp this, but now they have Democratic support as well, and they will make sure to point that out between now and the 2008 elections.

Rove may have predicted that this would happen but it was the Democrats not Rove who were swaggering around making big noises about how things were going to be different, how they were not going to give Bush a "blank check", how this was "the beginning of the end" of this failed policy in Iraq!

So much for all their bravado.

8. We expect Pukes to behave like Pukes.
We also expect the Dems we helped elect to show some backbone and stand on principals.

9. they both have failed us- and the american people have
failed ourselves and the world-

Complacency, based on apathy, substance abuse (from drugs, to things, to food, to power) will be our downfall unless something major changes.

Rove (and his pundit media) has played the Dem leadership as the no-brainer guys. And they fell for it.

26. These are not mutually exclusive options.
The Democratic leadership has chosen a political strategy that isn't satisfying to their base and that may or may not cover them in 2008. Rove is Rove.
