1. One of his best.....
Loved how he perfectly described Murdoch as the one who is doing the damage.

There were so many great one-liners....its really hard to pick a favorite. I did enjoy when he blamed the blackboard budget on not having more info and Glen Beck's ass surgery........whose arm? LOL

2. Glen Beck is truly mentally ill.
And so is every single person who believes his bullshit.

25. That's why I felt guilty while laughing my ass off
I have people in my close family with the same form of mental illness (bipolar/schizophrenia) so laughing at a parody of Glenn Beck felt unkind, but laugh I did.

4. It was magnificent. :)
The blackboard spin gag alone was genius. The puppets. Oh, man. I threw a sore rib loose from it.

5. I saw it but think "destroy" is overstating it.
Edited on Sat Nov-20-10 06:52 PM by pacalo
The running gag about the swaying chalkboard took out some of the bite & was lost on me; was Stewart mocking Beck for actually being awkward with his own chalkboard?

I know Beck uses puppets, so I liked the idea of Stewart's puppets hanging in such a gerry-rigged, flaky way.

6. Didn't see it Thursday, but I saw it tonight, thanks to your link
That was devastating!

And to think...a scant week ago some DUers were tripping over each other in order to get to the head of the line to damn Jon Stewart's eyes! This man in a national treasure, and some couldn't wait to cast asparagus!

Oh, yes...K & fuckin' R!

7. I couldn't believe that either.
People were so quick to put Jon Stewart on the DTM list that week that they forget he's capable of stuff like this - that episode was absolutely brilliant.

13. I was like "SEE? THIS is one of the guys your brothers get their news from!"
"THIS is who they listen to!"

If Beck is a lunatic, how far gone are the idiots who believe him?

15. I wish I could say the same, you obviously don't live in a red state.
I'm a native Vermonter and I've been stuck in *WTF* mode since I moved here.

Not fair, really, being willfully stupid should be physically painful.

I know people who do take him seriously - but it totally floors me that people do.

Remember the freeper women who creamed their jeans when * landed on that aircraft carrier?

I still gag whenever I see those pics.

11. I saw Jon-if Glen really does act like that.......... ....... .......wow
Glen is CRAZY. He's MINDPOISON. I notice the GOP & TP use emotions, if they can hook you emotionally your mind just shuts down. The Progressive Left needs to counter this.

20. Oh my sides! Oh my sides!
This whole thing was hysterical, but my husband and I practically turned purple with laughter at the puppet
scene. One of the puppets, the shiny, green chameleon--is a puppet that our youngest daughter has. She named
him Stevie and she sleeps with him every night.

The puppet scene came on and we were laughing hysterically, then my husband said, "Oh my God, it's Stevie hanging there!"
and we couldn't breath.

I haven't laughed that hard and that long--for a long time.

OMG.

21. The fact is
Beck is so far out on the fringe he's just low hanging fruit. The unfortunate part is the ones who take him seriously are in need of some serious intervention. And they drive big vehicles at high speeds on our socialist publicly funded highways.

24. The rally was just too subtle
So, now he's taken the gloves off. I laughed my ass off. I felt guilty laughing my ass off because I think Glenn Beck is actually battling mental illness, but laugh I did.

I was very surprised that so many people didn't get the point of the rally - it seemed so glaringly obvious to me. But, as long as he sticks with Faux "News", people will get it.
