Here's my note:

I am shocked at the President's decision to award George Herbert Walker Bush
the Medal of Freedom.
For what? His complicity in our toxic misadventures in Central America?
His pardoning of his cronies in the Iran-Contra Affair?
His blatantly racist campaign against Michael Dukakis in 1988?
When will this White House stand up for humane Democratic values and stop pandering to the Right Wing?
I am a life long Democrat and I've lost all patience with this Administration.
Thank you for your attention.

I know it's pointless, but I feel a teeny bit better.
