I'd love to hear Koppel's comments when looking over the show's daily email:

Tonight on 'Nightline'

Phil Spector's State of Mind

Phil Spector, one of the most famous music producers of all time, the man who guided groups from the Crystals to the Beatles, is on trial in Los Angeles for murder. Tonight we get a unique look at Spector's psyche through the words of Spector himself. British journalist Mick Brown conducted the last interview with the notoriously reclusive Spector before actress Lana Clarkson was shot to death in Spector's front hall. Mick Brown and I met up at Spector's California mansion to discuss the tapes, the legend and the trial.

Page Six on Page Six

Our second story tonight is a look inside one of the country's most famous -- and infamous -- gossip columns: the New York Post's Page Six. And now Page Six itself has become a story. A former writer claims that writers and editors accepted favors, including cash, and that editors were sometimes guided in story selection by the likes and dislikes of the Post's owner, Rupert Murdoch. The writer making the allegations talks with ABC's Bill Weir in his first television interview on the matter.

Tap Water Back on Top

Finally tonight, a backlash against bottled water. The answer to the question "spring or sparkling?" can mean thousands of dollars in revenue for restaurants. But would diners actually prefer to drink free water, akin to what they get from the kitchen sink? "Nightline's" Vicki Mabrey visited two San Francisco eateries, including green-growing guru Alice Waters' Chez Panisse, that are betting on it.

So that's our program for tonight. Phil Spector, Page Six and tap water, back in fashion. We hope you'll join us.
