http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/opinion/letters/orl-le23_507may23,0,6308896.story?coll=orl-opin-letters-headlinesRegarding Friday's article "The 'girls next door' did well, cops say": I wonder how much time, energy and money have been spent by the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation and other local law-enforcement agencies cracking down on escort services.
We're not talking about prostitutes walking up and down the street; we're talking about activities between consenting adults that the majority of us would never even know about.
With the murder rate at an all-time high, don't you think they would find better ways to be making us safer?

OrlandoMight not be as high-priority as the war in Iraq, Bush's never-ending assault on our civil liberties, and other hot-topics, but this really struck a nerve with me. Like my letter states, Orlando is going through a horrific crime spurt, with murder rates at an all time high. It really pissed me off seeing that they were focusing so much time & energy going after this type of "crime".
